Araucárias park

Araucarias Park is a park with animals, it is big and very nice.
Araucarias Park is in Guarapuava, state of Paraná, and in BR 377.Araucarias Park has got a very beautiful Entomological museum, that is an Insects museum.
There is a zoological museum that is very nice and very beautiful. There are different kinds of animals. The park has got geological museum, it is very beautiful, there are geological precious rocks and soil samples. There are different trees including the Araucaria tree, that is the symbol of Parana estate. In the park there are paths that take you one hour to walk, there is a river in the middle of the park.

Larissa dos Santos interviewed her grandmother, in the 16th March 2006, about the city. About what there used to be in the city.
Larissa: What didn't there use to be in 1965 in the city?
Grandmother: Still there didn't use to be the television, the first television that appeared, was black and white.
Larissa: And when did the color television appear?
Grandmother: 5 years later.
Larissa: How populous did the city use to be?
Grandmother: The population was very little. The city was empty. The street
xv of November was little.
Larissa: What transportation did the city used to have?
Grandmother: Was very common cart, cars were very few.
Larissa: How did the neighborhood use to be?
Grandmother: The neighborhood was brushwood, there were plantations of eucaliptus, was mud.
Larissa: What improvements did the city developed?
Grandmother: The city evolved more, much more.
Larissa: And what of worse did the city used to have?
Grandmother: The health insurance attended better. The jobs also, were much better before, it was easier to obtain work. And also the health insurance was cheaper.
Larissa: Is that. Thank you!
Grandmother: Not at all!!!
THE CHANGES OF PARQUE DO LAGO

Now the houses were retreat, the drainage transformed the place in a beautiful lake, the water was treated, and now has fishes. On the lake there are bridges of timber. For children there are very nice places, the skate park and a court of futsal.
There is a big space for adults to practice sports, there is the green grass. In PARQUE DO LAGO there are people who work selling popcorn, hot dog, and ice cream, water and juice. And now there is a beautiful garden. PARQUE DO LAGO WAS TRANSFORMED IN A TURISTIC POINT!!!
