Student's productions - Is this a wonderful world?

This project was based in the song What a wonderful world and the movie K-Pax. The point is to question whether the world is or not wonderful, support the positive and negative positions and find solutions.

This is a discussion based on the song What a wonderful world! by Louis Armstrong.

The world isn’t wonderful!

The world has:

Corruption, Politics, Capitalism, Murderers, Prostitutes, Kidnapping, Poverty, Accidents, Deaths, Thieves, Drugs, Cigarette, Ambition, Bad vices, Dodgers, The bad games,Violence (with wife and children), Bullying, Gambling, Wars, Racism, Homophobic, The ignorance, Bad education, Destruction, Serial killers, Psychotic, Crazy people, Slave

Traffic, Abortions, Pedophilia, Liars, People dying in the hospitals, Lazy people, Violence movies, Hanger, Toothless and grimy Children, Bad mothers, Alcohol, Prejudice, Pollution, Mistreating with the animals, Sickness, And finally, humans themselves.

  

Reasons to believe that the world is wonderful:

The nature is perfect. It displays countless kinds of plants. The flowers are beautiful, all fragrant and very different. Each one shows a part of beauty. There are trees of all sizes, all high; their leaves display countless combination of green, gray and red. The variability of the blue shades of sky and the water, they reveal combinations unimaginable. The many species of animals, the many kinds of life. The rain, the sun; the rain and sun that do the plants’ colors shine.  The sunrise and the sunset are incomparable. And the night displays shining and beauty so as the day. The moon is as charming as the sun.

The smile of a child, innocent and sincere. The hope. The wish of peace. The liberty, the fairy tales, the creativity, the art, the ideals that were never forgotten. The faith. The solidarity that shows in the big tragedies. The overcoming and the wish of overcoming.

Solutions for the world:

Create a machine that hypnotizes all the people.

Teach the Toothless and grimy Children to take a shower, brush the tooth.

Show to the humans that we are the only ones that can change the world (for better). (We can do this with the TV, games that educate, which hypnotize all the people.)

Don’t wait for natural disaster and change the world now.

Give good example to the children.

Don’t be selfish, sharing with other people.

Learn to use the human potential

Studying   

Show how to do good actions, giving good example

Think whether this is the world that we want

We need to read more and understand the theories that exist.

Positive and negative points about the Earth in Prot’s opinion (main character of K-Pax movie):

Positive Points:

• ·         The world is very bright.
• ·         The Earth produces lots of good things.
• ·         The reproduction process is very pleasant.
• ·         Everybody can cure themselves.
• ·         People miss each other.
• ·         The Human potential.
• ·         The world is very beautiful.
• ·         The earths fruits is very delicious

Negative Points:

• ·         We are eras away of discovering the light trip. ( Because we are waiting for a genius to discover things but we are skeptic and we are misreading the theories)
• ·         We live in first level of evolution, with a future uncertain. (Planet BA-3)
• ·         We are selfish and we need somebody to blame, because in everything that we are going to do we think about what we are going to gain.
• ·         We use the knowledge to destroy all creation. We prefer to use the destructive power     of knowledge instead off positive power.
• ·         Separating the people in social classes, rich = boss and poor = the workers.
